The Arc offers group home services in the local community, with homes in Charlottesville City, Albemarle County, and Nelson County. Our professional staff provides supports for individuals to acquire, retain, or refine skills while ensuring their health and safety needs are met.

Albemarle County Wildwood House

Group Home for up to four individuals located just outside the Charlottesville city limits in Albemarle County in a quiet residential neighborhood. A short drive to the Downtown Mall for walking, dining and shopping, and not too far from the Fashion Square Mall and other shops and services along Route 29.

Albemarle County Crozet House

Group Home for up to seven individuals located just 12 miles west of Charlottesville in the village of Crozet. Within walking distance of the public library and shops and services. Claudius-Crozet Park is just a short drive away, as is Mint Springs Park.

Group Home for up to five individuals located in the Rosser Road neighborhood around the corner from our Activity Center on Rose Hill Drive.

Charlottesville Shamrock House in Fry’s Spring

Group Home for up to seven individuals located in the Fry’s Spring neighborhood near the entrance to Johnson Village and Johnson Elementary School. Just a short distance to the downtown mall, the University of Virginia and Fry’s Spring corner for neighborhood coffee shops, ice cream, pizza and more.

Nelson County Stevens Varnum House

Group Home in the historic Stevens-Varnum House in Lovingston, Nelson County about 25 miles south of Charlottesville. Located within walking distance of the Nelson County courthouse and near shopping and dining.
